WHAT ARE HOMEBREW RAILS?
We set out to make the most heavy duty, beautiful rails for the Onewheel™ possible and the result are the Homebrew rails! Here are the key features of the Homebrew rails:
-7075 aircraft grade aluminum aka pretty much the most badass aluminum available! You get full steel strength with aluminum light weight!
-Type II black anodized
-Deep CNC roll tapped threads
-400 series hardened stainless steel inserts
-Deleted vestigial center vent hole for increased strength and resistance to bending
-Tighter tolerances at the axle bolt holes to quiet movement and noise.
Imagine a larger, beefier, pint. Retain the XR footpad real estate, while incorporating the agile, nimble, maneuverable, responsiveness of the pint.
Along with the Kush Pad Hi and the XtraRad tire and the shorter rail, this combo turns the long adored XR into a completely different animal!
Would recommend this to anyone with an XR! If any of your friends have a Growler, take the opportunity to ride it and see for yourself!
TFL took Future Motion's best offering and made it better on all fronts. Love that zippy increase in torque, and knowing my rails won't strip out anytime soon. That XtraRad tire is such a fun ride. Another job well done by TFL team.
Added the Grizzly ceramic ABEC-7’s when I did the tire change and not only is the thing incredible to ride, it’s completely silent and buttery smooth. All I can say is “Dude!”
If you can, you should. It's a welcome addition to any quiver. The 3/4" is actually noticeable and the Pint tire adds torque and carve.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. Ohh boy does this thing RIPP!!!! Sure it isn't going to replace my trail board with (TFL trail pro) but it's my new go-to for street riding 100%. Well done float life team!!
If you can get your hands on one just do it you won't be disappointed.
