I got the blue flannel version of this jacket and I'm using it mostly for EUC riding. I also have a lazyrolling hoody and a similar flannel jacket from highway 21. All of them are too hot to comfortably use in the summer in the sun but offer similar protection. This one is kevlar lined cotton. it's perfect for summertime night missions and would be great under a jacket in colder weather. The shoulder pads fit me kinda weird, I got the jacket in medium but I think the pads only come in one size. they will either break in or I will order some upgraded ce certified pads. i feel like they kinda phoned it in with the pad quality. It'll keep you safe but also make you look like the mom from the sitcom The Goldbergs.
I also really wish they put in the armpit zip like lazyrolling does. I'm not a stinky, sweaty kinda guy but those add a lot of comfort.. but this is like half the price and offers the same protection.
I haven't crashed yet in tfl gear but I had a cut out at ~65kph on an inmotion v12 in my lazyrolling hoody and got up and walked away thanks to the elbow and shoulder protection. This would have done the same. also was wearing leatt dual axis knee/shin protection, flatland 3d gloves- all stuff eevees sells. my helmet did not make contact with the road but it was a fox proframe mips from eevees which would not have been sufficient- If you regularly exceed 50km/h you should use a DOT certified motorcycle helmet.
anyway, good stuff for way less than lazyrolling!
